This is a “Survivor” 1980 Chevy van “Shorty” Panel Van with 58,849 miles
The strong 5.0 liter, V-8 engine starts right up and runs extremely well! Mechanically the van is great! There are no apparent leaks, smoke, overheating issues or strange noises. The entire drive train is solid and tight.
-The brakes, steering and suspension are in good working order.
-All electrical systems operated properly when tested
-Air conditioner system will need attention
The structural integrity is superb and the frame is rock solid. There are minor dings, dents, chips, scratches, scrapes, hazing, fading, nicks and various other imperfections you will usually find on most un-restored vehicles.
The frame, rockers, floors and rest of the truck are excellent!
The overall appearance is very clean and respectable!
-Staggered Cragar wheels, tires are older and replacement is recommended
The interior is good overall with normal wear. Nice seating surfaces and dashboard
This is a true American classic van that could serve the new owner very well for years to come as it sits, or is a great candidate to restore.
